BeWell events are quarterly virtual workshops focused on individual wellbeing, restoration, and practical skills people can use in their own lives. These interactive sessions center the human experience of work, offering evidence-based practices that support mental, emotional, and physical wellbeing. While BeWell events are especially valuable for workplace wellbeing practitioners, they are intentionally designed to be accessible to anyone interested in strengthening their own wellbeing and resilience.
How To Build A Fun Habit
This session explores how fun can become a simple, intentional habit that supports wellbeing, connection, and resilience. Participants will learn how to turn fun into an actionable and effortless habit, with a rich understanding of how doing so will help them become a healthier, more joyful person.
Learning Outcomes:
• Learn the PLAY Model to maximize fun each week
• Practice exercises to start having more fun immediately
• Discover ways to extend the benefits of fun long after the moment
Featured Presenter: Mike Rucker, PhD
Dr. Mike Rucker is an organizational psychologist, behavioral scientist, and charter member of the International Positive Psychology Association. He has been academically published in publications like the International Journal of Workplace Health Management. His ideas about fun and health have been featured in The Wall Street Journal, Washington Post, Fast Company, Psychology Today, Forbes, Vox, Thrive Global, Mindful, the BBC, and more.
